The ZRI subscribes to principles of open access and the free access to scientific research.

Contributions in the ZRI are published under a Creative Commons-license (Attribution – NonCommercial – NoDerivatives – 4.0 – International). When submitting their articles, the authors acknowledge and consent to a publication under that license and grant the editors of the ZRI all rights and permissions as are needed for the purposes and goals of that publication.
